Network Marketing Goals- Another Perspective

So have you given any thought to your Network Marketing Goals? We are two weeks into the New Year; time is ticking by – Tick Tock. Tick Tock.

The other day I wrote a blog post “New Year Goals – Reflection and Moving Forward.” In the post I recommend assessing 2016 by giving you six thought-provoking questions to think about, than I give you six questions to help you see yourself obtaining your goals in 2017, which I refer to as your projections.

I have something else for you to ponder. I received an email from Eric Worre the other day with a link to a video that was the last 90 minutes of his 2016 Go Pro Recruiting Mastery event. He gave everyone his “Ultimate Game Plan for 2017.”

After watching the video I thought “Wow this would be great information to pass on to my readers!” So without further ado…

Network Marketing Goals – Eric Worre Style

The first thing that caught my attention Eric said was, “Progress is Perfection. “You don’t need to be perfect to start but you do need to start.”

How true is that? We are always getting ready to get ready!

He listed 3 things every successful person does: 1) They say yes; 2) They broadcast their intentions to the world; and 3) They then they figure it out.

In other words, they just say yes to their dreams, they say yes to their success, they just say yes. They decide they are going to do what it takes to make it happen and they broadcast it to the world without thinking twice about whether it will or will not work, then they figure out how to make it happen.

You have to have faith in this profession and in your abilities. We get so caught up in our own heads and think if we read just one more book or do one more training or surround ourselves with the right people we will be ready to crush it. You have to get out of your head and start making things happen!  

We as mere mortals keep getting ready to get ready. If you want to play with the big dogs you have to make a decision! Decide not to play small anymore. You have to get out of your head and get out into the world.

To quote Tony Robbins, “It’s in the moment of your decisions that your destiny is shaped…”

Network Marketing Goals – 9 Pillars to Success

1. Decide – Make a decision; are you in or are you out. Are you going to treat your business as a hobby or are going to get serious and build your business. do want to be a top earner or just a mediocre earner?

2.Commit to the skills

          Skill #1 – Finding people to talk to.

          Skill #2 – Overcoming objections

          Skill #3 – Getting people started

          Skill #4 – Promoting events

Commit to learning and developing the skills necessary to move your business forward. Every top earner develops skills. They didn’t wake up one morning and become an overnight success. They learned and developed the skills to move their business forward.

3.Habits – You have to make your network marketing business your primary focus. No more excuses. If you work a full-time job and are using that as an excuse to not build your business, guess what? You will never be able to leave that job with that mindset.

Do you know that everyone has ninety-six 15 minutes in a day? I am sure you can find time to build your business. That favorite t.v. program you like; how long is it 30 minutes, an hour? Well if you are serious about building your business you’d forego that program. What about commute time? While you are driving to work make some prospecting calls. You can make calls on your lunch break or on 15 minute breaks.

If you want to be a top earner develop the habits of a top earner!

4.Associations – You have heard the famous quote by Jim Rohn “You are the average of the 5 people you associate with.” Pick and choose wisely who you’re hanging around with. Hang with people, who have no ambition, you have no ambition. Hang with people who want to make something of their life…

And if you want to hang with the big guys, be a servant.

5.Think BIGGER – Don’t fall into the “success coma.” What is the percentage of your potential are working at right now? Seriously; is it 5%, 10%, 50%? If you want to be successful you have to up your game.

 Here’s a great example of how Eric got Dawn to think bigger; in the video, Eric talked with Dawn about how she could start thinking bigger. At first, she was content to bring only 100 people to an upcoming convention. He challenged her to set the bar higher, to crank up the expectations. He told her to go to, which would hold her accountable to this challenge. She could set aside $25,000 and if she didn’t meet a new goal of bringing 400 people to the convention, then that money would go to her ex-boyfriend! Now, Dawn is set and determined that she will have 400 people at that convention.

If this is what it takes to get you motivated and hold yourself accountable than do it.

You have to start thinking bigger!

6.Let It Go – Write down what is holding you back from meeting your potential. I’ll wait while you do that…

Okay, now give yourself permission to let it go. Stop the self-doubt and focusing on what isn’t working. Pick yourself up, put your big girl panties or big boy briefs on get to work! You can do this. I believe in you.

7.Vision – This is the biggest one of all in my opinion. You have to see your future, life, business, contribution, skills, growth, and service and define it as clearly as possible. Without vision you are dead in the water. You have heard that people don’t join company’s they join people, however according to Eric, people join your vision. Makes sense to me.

On a side note: Ray Higdon has an awesome course **“Fast Track- 6 Figure Formula.”** Ray and Mark Hoverson go deep into vision and a lot more. It’s an awesome course. So awesome I burned the modules onto CD’s and play them when I am in my car. A lot of excellent nuggets for anyone wanting to build a 6 figure or higher business.

8.Game Plan – You have to have a game plan of how you are going to recruit, get to events, which events, how are you going to build a team, how are you going to train your team, create duplication, so on and so forth.

If you don’t have strategies how in the world do expect to play the game?!

9.WORK YOUR ASS OFF! Commit to growing and making a contribution to the world by getting out there and telling people what you have to offer. You can’t build a big organization by sitting on the couch watching Game of Thrones hoping people are going to just magically appear.

Get off your ass and get to work!
